📄 TERMS & CONDITIONS (Sunset Vendors)

Welcome to Sunset Vendors. By accessing our website, booking a vehicle, or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. 🚗 Rental Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Sunset Vendors, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old (or your required age)

  • Possess a valid driver’s license

  • Provide valid personal auto insurance that may extend coverage to rental vehicles

  • Pass identity and eligibility verification

We reserve the right to deny service at our discretion.

2. 💳 Payments & Deposits

  • Weekly rental rates are charged in advance

  • A security deposit is required at the time of booking

  • All payments must be made via approved payment methods

  • Late or failed payments may result in vehicle repossession

3. 🔁 Rental Term & Extensions

  • Rentals are provided on a weekly basis

  • Extensions must be requested before the due date

  • Failure to return or extend may result in additional fees and recovery actions

4. 📍 Vehicle Use Restrictions

Renter agrees NOT to:

  • Use the vehicle for illegal purposes

  • Allow unauthorized drivers

  • Take the vehicle out of state without permission

  • Use the vehicle for towing, racing, or reckless driving

5. 🚘 Rideshare & Delivery Use

  • Vehicles may be used for rideshare and delivery services (Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, etc.)

  • Renter is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all platform requirements

  • Sunset Vendors is not affiliated with or endorsed by any rideshare or delivery company

6. 🛡 Insurance Responsibility

  • Renter must maintain valid personal auto insurance

  • Renter understands that many personal policies exclude commercial use

  • Renter is fully responsible for:

    • All damages

    • Loss of use

    • Claims not covered by insurance

Optional Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) may be offered separately.

7. 💥 Accidents & Damage

In the event of an accident:

  • Renter must notify Sunset Vendors immediately

  • A police report may be required

  • Renter remains financially responsible regardless of fault

8. 🚭 Smoking & Cleanliness

  • No smoking in vehicles

  • A cleaning fee (e.g., $200) may be charged for violations

9. 🔒 Vehicle Tracking & Recovery

  • Vehicles may be equipped with GPS tracking devices

  • Failure to return a vehicle may result in:

    • Remote disable (if applicable)

    • Recovery action

    • Legal enforcement

10. ⚖️ Limitation of Liability

Sunset Vendors is not liable for:

  • Loss of income (including rideshare earnings)

  • Personal property left in the vehicle

  • Indirect or incidental damages

11. 📄 Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Misuse forms or submit false information

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems

12. 🔄 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
